24th May 2013
HallsHeeler’s Australian Cattle Dogs Puppy Update #20 taken on the 24th May 2013 at day 24 of life.
Maryheather Lady Dancer with her two Australian Cattle Dog puppies are growing and playing as they get older and cheekier day by day.
The puppies’ father is Pavesi Red Lord – a blue speckled Australian Cattle dog – the HallsHeeler foundation dog – who was purchased from Alan and Julie Park of the old and successful “Pavesi” stud just outside Sydney, NSW.
History & General Overview:
Australian Cattle Dogs are often referred to as “Blue Heelers”, “Queensland Heelers” or just “Heelers”. Australian Cattle Dogs originated in Australia thanks to the foresight of cattle magnate Thomas Hall around 1830 when he first developed a breed of cattle dog hardy enough for Australian conditions and yet great for working cows in the outback. HallsHeeler’s aim to breed original blue Australian Cattle Dogs true to their origins and purpose.
